Illustration of a favourite poem

An artist friend of mine once made an illustration of one of my favourite poems (which, incidentally was his as well) and gave it to me. That was extremely special.

The very best pressie is one that's been home made, same goes for cards, doesn't matter if the end result is not that professional, if someone has spent time on a gift there's nothing better, last minute stuff is out.

The best present I ever got was from a guy who wrote me a song. He gave me a big box wrapped with a white ribbon. There is a great gift that sticks in my mind, which was tickets to see Lady Gaga at Brixton academy. They were a last minute gift from my sister who bought them off eBay.
Although I would like (ok, love!) the entire Chanel summer collection, I prefer gifts that are put together/ bought/ organised with some thought behind them, regardless of the cost. Something that I want right now is a gramophone record with some really nice LP records.
