There is a great gift that sticks in my mind, which was tickets to see Lady Gaga at Brixton academy. They were a last minute gift from my sister who bought them off eBay.
Although I would like (ok, love!) the entire Chanel summer collection, I prefer gifts that are put together/ bought/ organised with some thought behind them, regardless of the cost. Something that I want right now is a gramophone record with some really nice LP records.
An ipod, BUT with a whole database of music, each with specific message!
An iPod with a preinstalled set of playlists with songs that meant things to us. It’s an obvious gift with a really nice personal touch!
Probably the best present I received from Dave - my ex-husband - was a Donna Summer album because I knew it was music that he did not like and, at that time, we had only one record deck so he would have to listen to it!
I prefer experiences but I loved it when my boyfriend got me an iPad because there was a reason for it, ie I needed GPS because I kept getting lost!
