Gillies Jones Glass

Partners in life and art, Stephen Gillies and Kate Jones operate from a studio in the village of Rosedale Abbey. Drawing inspiration from the elemental beauty of their rural surroundings, they have developed a unique aesthetic. Their ‘defiantly decorative’ work can be found in both public and private collections locally, nationally and internationally. Stephen is the glassmaker, he blows the glass to the best of his considerable ability. Kate adapted her visual skills from painting to glass, bringing a well-defined sense of design to the partnership.
